Mission 24: Defending the kingdom | The lost Saga

Narrator: The count was busy besieging Duc Volpe, not realising it was just a ruse. Duc Volpe merely wanted to gain time and moved with his army into the king's county while the count conquered his unimportant lands in the mountains and swamps.

The king: "You can try what you like, my castle will not fall. I have sent my messengers. Reinforcements will arrive soon."

Duc Volpe: "Your reinforcements will not arrive in time. Sir Longarm, Lord Woolsack and the count are kept busy by me far away from you. All three have fallen for my game. Now you are at my mercy!"

The king: "Even without the help of my allies, you won't be able to get me. You are not strong enough to defeat the royal armies!"

Your scribe: "It has rained a lot in the last few months. A fire is very unlikely."

Task: Withstand the wolf's invasions.

(Be aware that the ingame map description is in German.)

• But still pay attention to the economy.
  
• Set fire to your castle if the danger is too great.
