Description
Currently on ALPHA version 0.2
The official (and higly recommended) Armor DLC is required for this mod to work.
The Body Mod and Main mod Diverse Females ++ is required for this mod to work
Please refer to the main mod for incompatible mods and more details

True body customisation is here
This is the ADDON dlc version

Diverse Females ++ (alpha 0.1) is the sequel to Diverse Female Bodies which allowed you to change your body type within the very limited confines of the armors of the game. That has changed.

Introducing 5 different body types with thousands of custom refitted armorparts from the basegame and DLC (seperate mod) that automatically fits according to your selected bodytype. All bodyparts and armor will additionaly autogenerate on new NPC's.

That is not all. In the customisation selection you are now able to select which of the 5 available bodytypes you want for your torso, arms and legs, which means you will (if my math has not completely failed me!) be able to create 125 different bodytypes.

As before, the mod is currently only available for female characters. I hope to release a male version as well soon.

Lacking features in DLC version besides possible visual bugs
Currently 30-40% of the armors are lacking the armor parts for arms and the pants part of the legs. I will work on updating these as soon as possible, along with the unequip mod so you can choose to have different parts show or not.

-- Lustrious Legends --

Lustrious Legends is my proposed attempt to create a pack of mods that will expand and test the limits of the Wildermyth Game engine to create new and exciting mods.

Hope you enjoy the mod and the Omenroad Expansion! :-)

Thank you so much!! And yeah totally understand that data tables can be tricky, and that's very exciting to hear! :3 Yeah it I wonder if it's a mod on my end then that interacted with yours, will try some trial and error later, I was able to disable it successfully though! Thank you :3 :winter2019happyyul:

@Elorae Thanks, I read through all of your ideas and suggestions. :-) Thank you for taking the time to flesh out your thoughts to improve the mod.

I want to take a deeper look at your ideas and bug descriptions and I will try and give a more thorough answer later, or at least take it into consideration for the next update!

I am currently updating all data tables for the armors to better be able to update the mod in the future. It is driving me mad the way the armor parts are named atm. :-P

Flatchested are coming for females. I will have to think about a way for females to use male armor and males can use female armor. It might be worth taking into consideration when I create the male body types. :-)

As for the visual bug. I have no idea. I never ran into it even when switching on mods mid campaign. My mod doesnt touch ui or anything, it is purely visual and makes the default bodies invisible. When you disable it the default bodies will appear again with no issue.

Thanks again!

(7 of ?) found it amusing that the battlescoth armor is pec tight for male bodies in a way that is similar to ceremonial/command armors from history in a way that also is not a brilliant idea for a lot of fighting with current technology since it's easier for a blow to be deflected from the side of the chest into the center, while the female body battlescoth is a much more practical undivided boobplate. Got nothing against shaped breast armor for any body type as art it's beautiful I just also like to see convex armor because it does work well AND it can still look awesome! The medieval armor modern updates some blacksmiths like armstreet have done to try and do mock combat/sparring plate armor in a way that accounts for the usually more curvaceous shape women and some enbies tend to have is stunning and does still accentuate a more rounded chest. all you'd need to do is redraw the inner lines of the female chest armor to be more like that basically.

(6 of ?) 2) This would probably require a separate mod and would be a bigger undertaking (wish my life was in a situation where learning the visual side of modding would be something realistic right now) but a comment a nonbinary friend of mine made years ago regarding the vanilla game is that they wished the clothing and armor designs as they done different for male and female body types were available for both.

By which I mean the cut of the clothing, like how much of the chest is shown or how the body is shaped by it. Personally I would have loved if the way plate armor was done for the male body but simply more curve at the waist and chest was something that female plate armor had in this game at least as a variant which is part of why I love how oceanscale was done in the dlc so much.

(5 of ?) I guess on that note I'd be interested in a mod that makes it possible to add breasts to what the game classifies as male body types? body variety (both real and in art) is an incredible thing.

(4 of ?) And, this does also give people an option for making fat non-gynecomastic non-trans men if they want using the fat body type you made aside from what plans you may or may not have with the diverse males mod. (this is completely tangential to this but there is discussion among historians about what equivalents of HRT would have been available hundreds or thousands of years ago for ancient known equivalents of gender expansive people to use, e,g, spearmint is an anti-androgen. of course wildermyth is a technological high fantasy setting where magic has significant reshaping capabilities so this point is doubly moot but I digress)

(3 of ?) 1) One of the things I'd want the most for this mod is a flat chested option, both to reflect women who have that without modification (whether some cisgender gals who are like that or trans gals who are) and also the practice of chestbinding among some parts of the transmasc and nonbinary community and other gender expansive equivalents (and there are cis men with gynecomastia who do this too), which like some gender affirming practices the technology was around and was theoretically used in that way, the direct evidence of it is simply missing/not found due to a combination of loss or ignoring of knowledges from the course of history and until recently commonly held archaeological principles.

(2 of ?) -I run into this weird bug where applying the mod mid campaign caused all the enemies to be invisible except for their name and stat bars, and when I started a new game I had the same problem. I don't have any mods that modify what monsters look like, and the only mods I have that modify appearance at all are the mods required for this one, chestnuts scissors, 10,000 faces of wildermyth, genderrollsx10k faces, banditevents (which has bandit armor and capes as an option, but I never use them in part because of anticipating this mod, I mostly have the mod on for enemy and conflict resolution variety), and expanded visuals, scenery. do you know what might be causing it? I can try starting a new game with just your mods later and see what happens and go from there if that would help :winter2019happyyul:

(1 of ?) yeah actually testing tonight to do multiplayer with a good friend in several days, we were both excited for this! That's great to hear! You probably already know this but enabling bust size changes for the civilian/farmer clothing would be good, the size difference for the narrowest body type to their bust is the most drastic, whereas the armor variants I've run across so far are more proportional, figured this was overlooked because most of the game player characters are not using farmer clothing.
