Insidious Corruption Fix

Description
A fix for Insidious Corruption where the de-occupying (essentialy abandoning) of settlement script crashed the game.
Play with this mod only and not with the original as the scripts will likely conflict.

Original description:
This mod makes it so regions with high corruption not occupied by a faction that has said corruption as its main religion have a 1 out of 10 chance per turn of spawning an army of said corruption. For example, an empire owned region with vampiric corruption has a chance of spawning a vampire army or if its corrupted by the Skaven it will spawn a skaven army, or if its corrupted by chaos (and the chaos faction currently exists), it has a chance of spawning a chaos army. Meanwhile, a skaven owned region will never have a skaven army spawn on them and so on.

The idea of the mod is to make corruption something to fear a lot more and to work on not having it in your provinces, as well as give the player more incentive to spread their own brand of corruption in order to weaken the factions they are fighting with the random armies that will spawn as a result.


So now the spawned armies are able to occupy settlments, though that decision depends on their initial force and they dont always do, most times they're just raiding.

I'v edited the spawned armies to be more randomized with potentially more but weaker units, and additional minor tweaks.

I'v tried to implement more edits like maintaining the de-occupation somehow, edit the spawning so it's more dynamic and starts at 1% (instead of at 50%) and with higher chances of spawning the higher the corruption gets (instead of a fixed 10%) but utterly failed since i don't know LUA specific code. If anyone knows and wishes to help let me know.

As such, I'll probably be able to implement only simple suggestions, but feel free to comment/ask anything.

If you encounter something odd please comment, I'v tested it on vanilla campaigns with multiple turns and everything seemed to work fine.

Unfortunately I'm still having occasional crashes on the new faction's turn in the late campaign, not sure if it's inherent to the mod or a mod conflict.
If anyone still has crashes or doesn't and all works smoothly please let me know, thank you.

Hey, this is a fixed version with an edited script so you only need this mod and not the original, i'll clarify in the description, thanks.

Do you need to have this mod active at the same time as the earlier Insidious Corruption mod or is having this mod active by itself enough?
