NOTICE: This is a heavily modified version of -=Herbie=-'s Quest estate (found in required vehicles), please download their version as well, to support them! This vehicle would not exist without them, and i thank them for giving me permission to upload this!

LORE:
in 1986, VCM received experimental design sketches and test vehicles from -=Herbie=-.Inc that related to their Quest line of vehicles. Based on this, VCM heavily modified the design and internals, and extended the hatchback design (which was the only planned vehicle at the time) into a 5-door estate, creating the Tekrat. Due to VCM's higher budget (yes, believe it or not, VCM once made a profit on vehicles!), the VCM Tekrat made it to market before the Quest. The Tekrat was a hit in European countries, especially in the UK, but faltered in the United States due to VCM only producing Right Hand Drive models. Even with this success, the Tekrat was only ever produced in an estate variant, compared to -=Herbie=-.Inc producing multiple variants of their original design. Ultimately, the Tekrat's production was ended in 1992, 3 years before the Quest Estate was introduced. It sold 400,000 units in the United Kingdom alone, and over 500,000 in the European Union. -=Herbie=-.Inc released the Quest and its' variants in 1995, using the VCM Tekrat as an inspiration for the Quest Estate. unfortunately, the Quest estate wound up reaching a lower production number due to the abundance of VCM Tekrat's still on the road by 1995. However, the Quest and VCM models have both become quite popular in recent years, with the Quest line of vehicles (the estate, in particular) becoming highly sought after models by collectors, because of their lower numbers.

Creator's Rants:
Firstly, i want to give a massive thank you to -=Herbie=- for allowing me to upload AND re brand their original vehicle, and approving the entire lore section of the description. They were very kind, and were a joy to talk to. Second, this little side project has been with me for a while, but i finally decided to get permission and get it up on the workshop. Please, go look at -=Herbie=-'s work, it's some really good stuff!

psst, hey, please like and favourite this, it means a lot! (and please do the same for Herbie's stuff too, they deserve it!)
