But yeah, I miss Brick Islands. Brickograd is a decent replacement, but man Brick Islands was better. It felt so expansive. The three main cities, the two airports and the smaller little towns. The overhead railway and the streetlights were also a bonus, along with the dock/port areas.
I don't care much for many other mods (except for the remastered skies mod), but if there was one mod I could have it would be the islands. Rip indeed
The real issue however is that you need the Dev tools to allow the maps to be ported. This requires permission from Fluppi himself. Only trusted members/users are allowed access.
Because of these changes, Brick Islands (And other maps) are no longer compatible with the current game version.
Brick Islands may get updated in the future, but who knows. All I know is that it's a lot harder for newbies to create maps.
