Wielandiella angustifolia

This extinct plant was a bennettite from the latest Triassic and the Jurassic. It grew well in moist and recently disturbed areas like lakeshores and floodplains. These models all bear showy female cones since I found the male plants too tough with what pieces we have in the game.

W. angustifolia was found in Sweden and Greenland. Given that many isolated leaves (of the leaf genus Anomozamites) have also been found which can't be confidently assigned to a whole-plant species, this plant and similar ones were likely also common in the rest of Europe as well as China, maybe North America too. Even with that said, its rather archetypal williamsoniacean bennettitale look means you can probably use it throughout the Jurassic world.

Update 12: reworked since the coastal foliage was changed by U12. The new fiddleheads on the sword ferns make them look a lot better as ferns, but not here since bennies had a different process of leaf development. So you get a slightly less accurate but eh, still functional Wielandiella.

Update 13: changed out the sword ferns for the new maidenhair ferns, looks much better.
