Also possibly they're unable to eat the grass for some reason, it may be an exotic grass from a mod or maybe it's because they've already eaten it and it hasn't regrown enough to consume.
If the latter I recommend the Graze Up mod, but herbivores should also be willing to eat hay instead of grass if it's connected to their pen.

I have some questions or a possible report.
Some of my animals were starving with full of reachable foods. I wondered why and found the reason.
When kibble is placed on a stockpile(counted as a possession), wherever kibble is, it is fine with non-barn animals, as they are manageable with area restriction.
But with barn animals, if kibble is not reachable, despite they are wandering on grass growing zone with full of grasses, they just starve even experiencing malnutrition.
i) animals' preference for unreachable kibble
ii) persist preference for unreachable kibble with malnutrition state
Are these intended?
If they are intended, it is all good with me since I knew what had been causing a starvation.
Lastly and again, much appreciation for the mod.
