The modpack from camo_tnt (Steam blocks the link) was taken as a basis
In it, I added new map category, the missing 2 maps and replaced the lighting with hw_hub_1

But when porting the maps, I came across incomprehensible things: 1) brushes for some reason have a visible "novis" texture 2) sprites are not displayed on some maps, which is why the 3d skybox is empty. 3) there are also Error models, although all models are in this pack. ((If anything, I decompiled via bspsource in the SDK of VTMB itself)

If you know what the problem is and want to improve the maps from this pack, then just unpack.gma file via gmad.exe

За основу был взят мап пак от camo_tnt (ссылку блокирует Стим)
В нем я добавил категорию карт, недостающие 2 карты и заменил освещение на hw_hub_1

Но при переносе карт я столкнулся с непонятными вещами: 1) браши почему-то имеют видимую текстуру "no viz" 2) на некоторых картах не отображаются спрайты, из-за чего 3д скайбокс пустой. 3) также встречаются Error модельки, хотя все модели есть в этом паке. (Если что я декомпилировал через bsp source в SDK самой VTMB)

Если вы знаете в чем проблема и хотите улучшить карты из этого пака, то просто распакуйте .gma файл через gmad.exe

Я всё ещё надеюсь что кто-то выдаст код на физику одежды из игры.

Have you tried using the stuff from the unofficial patch as a base? When i tried to replace your mod files with the files from the unofficial patch i only broke the mod further, probably because i legit don't know how to mod GMod.

@amusquiz Not only models are not displayed, also textures, sprites, materials, etc.

If its models you're having issue with you may want to try decompiling them using crowbar, and recompiling them using gmod's utilities. I do know there is a difference between each game's shading and models system, while gmod can read them there might be errors caused by directly porting them that can be resolved by recompiling them.

@amusquiz I'm already planning to merge some maps from VTMB into one big one. But I don't understand why content from VTMB is not visible in GM, even though I used utilities from VTMB SDK

Looking at it, the issue is likely that VTM conflicts with a lot of models and content from HL2 or some of the content is looking for it in the vampire the masquerade directory. There is also the whole issue of the design philosophy of VTM and hl2 itself conflicting. VTM has relatively fast level transition, gmod is slow to transition due to hundreds of mods. So going from the diner to the city is a particularly grueling task. A better way of going about this is figuring out which maps are closely linked together and joining them using teleportation. As gmod has a much larger mapping system and better optimizations than older source engine games. You can also remove the ability to change level all together which is a much easier method.

For some reason, this adds a dust cloud that follows the hunter-chopper helicopter around. I disabled all addons and narrowed it down to this. Not sure what's up with that.
