7.15.24 UPDATE* the draw animation is fixed now

For PBR textures to render properly: I suggest putting "mat_specular 1" in console, or type "+mat_specular 1" in gmogs launch properties.

works in multiplayer better than singleplayer

took me like 30+ hours in total on blender and qc editing and a bunch more in game trying to figure out whats wrong
there were like at least a hundred hiccups with the texturing and animation and key frame sound timing doo hickey, since its a model and not just a reskin I have to compile it all over again every time I make a change and restart the game.

hey bikes I have a few questions about the process on how you made this replacement.
1. how long did it take for you to finish this thing?
2. how complicated was the process and were the many hiccups?
3. are you doing more for 357 stuff?

ok i fixed the shooting animation, I did not fix the draw because I have no idea whats causing it in the qc file, thats my final updat goodbye

ye personally I use viewmodel_fov 73 atm im trying to make the shooting sequence not as jolty as it is right now, i gotta learn how to animat

Alright so i tested out your 357 replacement and I really like it, it took some time getting use to the fov change but nothing a little noob stomping wont fix. the switch anim is kinda bust on servers it looks a little janky, though one thing i liked was to constantly swap weapons for a dopamine shot to the brain when i finally hit it. The only thing i dont like is the firing sound, not punchy enough.
