there were like at least a hundred hiccups with the texturing and animation and key frame sound timing doo hickey, since its a model and not just a reskin I have to compile it all over again every time I make a change and restart the game.
rn im doing a medkit replacement
1. how long did it take for you to finish this thing?
2. how complicated was the process and were the many hiccups?
3. are you doing more for 357 stuff?
overall 9/10
The file name for the gun's vtf textures is "b3wing_legendary", but the names for each texture in the vmt file is "b3_wing_legendary", and because no such texture exists to draw from, it results in the texture messing up as a result. Adding the underscore to each selective vtf or removing underscores from every instance "b3_wing_legendary" in every vmt file fixed this.
Also this might be a little extra, but i'd also recommend swapping the bumpmap in the "wingman_v2_static_legendary_03_base" vmt to use "b3wing_legendary_normal" instead.
Outside of all of that crap, it's still an amazing replacement
