Advanced Spell Inventory

Description
Store your spells, stack them, sort them, filter them!

Allows you to store your spells similar to my InventoryBags mod, but for spells. It lets you stack spells, sort them, quick-move between regular inventory and storage, quick-drop into the world etc. Let me know if you find any bugs, so I can fix them, thanks :)

- Spells can be dragged within the inventory (but doesn't interact with vanilla)
- Shift click spells to move them between areas
- Right-clicking spells drops them into the world
- To use the filter, click on it to focus it, then type, return control to your character by pressing Enter or click outside the textbox

There is also a mod setting that lets you auto-storage spells you pick up.
The button to open the inventory can be dragged using the right mouse button and its position can be reset in the settings.

While L-Shift is down, the button will transform into a dump button to dump all spells of your currently held wand to storage.

Want to say thank you? I have a ko-fi page :)

maybe have it be smth in settings? it would be useful tbh

Technically yes, I could add an option, but it would overlay with the regular inventory and we can't block mouse events to the vanilla UI, so while dragging the spells in ASI, you might also drag the spells from your wands around...

is there a way to make the menu open when you open your inventory?

Ah, just noting something another player said on modworkshop:

"Mod works like a charm, I really like it, the only problem is that mod settings don't seem to apply until I start a new game. For example, when I changed rows amount to 5, I still had 3 rows after restarting the game and continuing, but when I started a new game, I got the correct amount. Is that an expected behaviour? I am in a long run and ran out of space again, can I somehow make the game recognize new mod settings without starting a new game?"

Ditto to this question.

Needs a new game to change.

The setting for how many rows seems not to be working. It just stays at 3 regardless of what I set :(

Alright, it's been long enough. The funny dump can take a rest but can be re-enabled in the settings. Sort by amount has been added.

In addition to the current sorting options, could it be possible to sort spells by the number of copies we have of that spell?

Also, I regret to sound like a killjoy, but it would be nice to have a toggle for a voiceless and less... scatological version of the dump sound. It did make me laugh the first time I heard it, but a joke is less funny the hundredth time and also I'm embarrassed to show it to other people who don't have the same sense of humor. (I looked into the files myself but it does not seem trivial to simply change the audio file and anyway such a change would be reverted if you updated the mod.)

ahh thx, it is working now. the auto config set the resolution to 1280 x 720, i thought it has to be same as the game... then i manually matched the game :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
