Description
Automatically Update Your Mods with This Mod!

Tired of manually restarting your server every time you need to update mods? This mod automatically checks for updates and applies them to your server when a mod is updated to the latest version.

How does it work? Simple! Let me guide you through the steps:

Step 1.

Add this mod as the first mod to be loaded by your server to ensure proper functionality.

Example:
Mods=WorkshopUpdate;OtherMods;
WorkshopItems=3269118316;OtherWorkshopItems;

Step 2.

In your server’s Sandbox options, I recommend setting
Workshop Polling Interval (Minutes) = 10 or 5
for faster update checks.

Step 3.

This mod will automatically search for updates to the mods you’ve added to your server.

Important!
When adding or removing mods, only new or updated mods will be checked for updates. Mods removed from the server will not be updated.

If anything is unclear, feel free to ask, and I’ll explain further.

My next Mods that I also create:

I also recommend using this Mod:

Workshop ID: 3269118316
Mod ID: WorkshopUpdate

Yeah this mod does not seem to be working. It is not quitting out of the server if a mod update is needed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all this mod does is check for update only? It's not auto-update, auto restart nor live-update (update while server is online/running), correct?

Okay I understand better, so each time there is a workshop update that the server detects, it will send announces in the server to players before kicking everyone and rebooting.
Yeah I wanted to avoid having to reboot the server entirely since it's a pain to manage, when you have hundreds of mods sometimes you have to reboot 3 times in an hour

@Ben_OnAir
What you're asking is not possible in Project Zomboid. The LUA code has to be reloaded in it's entirety. This mod seems to be a lightweight counterpart to Udderly Up To Date, which will ping your players before restart/update.

From what I can read, it's that, but without the ping? Correct me if wrong.

I'm not sure to understand, does the mod restart the server or only refreshes the LUA?
Because I don't want players to be kicked out of the server every time there is a mod update, I would like the mod to update while the server is running and player don't feel anything happening
Is that what it's supposed to do?

"No Workshop ID to check" Any solution?

Not working, it says "No workshop ID to check" and meanwhile there are like 3 mods pending to update, and people can't join.

Hi there! Somewhere between updates the mod stopped working for me. I didn't change the hosting or anything like that, it just stopped working and I manually rebooted again. I only share to warn. Thanks for everything

hmm Ive been researching and still cannot seem to find an answer to this, Server is hosted on a computer through SteamCMD but I havent found anything talking about the port issue or Thread issues online with help.
Other than my weird issue mod works :steamthumbsup:
