Fort Wagner 1863

Fort Wagner 1863, known for the battles that happened in it during the American Civil War. Here I made an almost 1/1 replica of the fort, though it may not be 100% accurate, it does have I think, all the important things the real fort had, sadly the fort does not remain to this day, so I had to use photographs and models made by other people to build this. Made of sand, wood and probably a bit of stone, its walls were slanted to a low angle to bounce or deflect artillery attacks, the fort wasn't unarmed though, with various kinds of artillery both heavy and light, it protected the entrence to Charlston bay along with other forts. In this very fort in 1863, the 54th Massachusetts regiment, compossed of mostly black troops stormed the fort, and died in the attempt, but they will go down in history for their bravery and sacrifice.

Here you and your friends (if you have any) to have battles or just mess around, the map has a lot of space for you to use and mess with. The map has:

Fort Wagner:
- Moat
- Wooden stakes to slow down attackers
- Various gunports and gun positions
- three magazines
- Shelves to store shot and powder
- Affordable housing (tents)
- Two entrances
- Slanted sand walls
- Mortar position
- CSA Spawn

Water:
- water

Marshlands and sand:
- Sand dunes
- Grass (I guess)
- Space
- Stones to take cover (and certainly not hide bits of land that I couldn't fix in hammer)

Skybox:
- Marshlands
- Water
- 3 Ironclads
- Fort Sumter in the distance (foreshadowing)

I think the map is Stormfox compatible, so if you want to add weather or change the time of day you can do it. And I think that is all lads. Now take your stick, take your boots and go fight a war to afford basic living conditions (and die in combat)
