Description
What is this?
Forsaken Delicacies is a mod about farming and cooking.
It involves taking a gourd and alchemically changing it until it's... unrecognizable.
This mod adds 21 materials, 9 plants, and is best played without spoilers.
For those who wish to discover
Something you should know before going into this, most of this mod involves covering or submerging a fruit in another material. Due to the way Noita handles this it can be finnicky, so try swishing it around or going off-screen and coming back if you're having trouble. Just leaving it there and waiting can work too.
Pay close attention to text on items and the text that shows up only once when you plant things. It can be useful.
Guidance
In case you want either spoilers or hints, you may find those below.
They are ordered as they would be in progression and each pair of spoilers/hints is the same thing but said either vaguely or clearly.
What do I do with the gourd?
Hint: It claims to need some reforging, yes? I think you know of an anvil.
Spoiler: Take it to the Hiisi base anvil to get the seed. As the seed's item description implies, tossing a gourd into toxic sludge will transform it and kicking the seed will plant it. Note that the plant will give you Crossgourds, which are functionally identical to normal gourds but have more health so they don't splat from the tree.
What do I do with (Fruit 2)?
Hint: It seeks a blood pact, to mix its blood with your own. As the dust settles, lay it to rest.
Spoiler: Damage the Cursefruit to get banejuice. Mix it with blood to get Strawbright, which will precipitate salt over time. Put the Cursefruit in a pile of salt to transform it. Keep in mind, if you want more Cursefruits and don't want to make more, you can take it to the anvil and get a seed.
What do I do with (Fruit 3)?
Hint: Its seed may provide the guidance you need. This portion requires some other Noita knowledge to make sense.
Spoiler: Bring the Trailblazer near a music machine, that's all. You should be keeping at least one plant of each fruit for later endeavors, which is the intended result of putting necessary information in the seeds.
What do I do with (Fruit 4)?
Hint: It states a need for purification. In its current state its blood dries quickly. Seek from where you began.
Spoiler: Take the salt you got from Strawbright earlier and pour water on it to get brine. Mix that with brakeless, which is the result of silvermilk drying out, and you get a bittering agent. Toss the Riftlily in a pool of it to transform it.
What do I do with (Fruit 5)?
Hint: Derive answers from the seed again.
Spoiler: Toss the Otherside in some silvermilk to transform it. If you want to get rid of the brakeless at the bottom of your pit/pool, pour a bit of water in and rehydrate it. Water is less dense, so it'll naturally go to the bottom and get it for you.
What do I do with (Fruit 6)?
Hint: Do as it says. Destroy it the same as any ring of power. Probably get a seed first, though.
Spoiler: Toss Temporia in lava to transform it. Have fun getting it back if you chose the lava lake, though.
What do I do with (Fruit 7)?
Hint: You know the drill, same thing you did with Otherside.
Spoiler: Toss the Vertebrisk in Latticemaker, the blood of Temporia
What do I do with (Fruit 8)?
Hint: For most, this is the end of the road. It lacks all stability. To change that, you must create a substance. You have the tools, now use them.
Spoiler: Go back and mix the blood of Temporia with Bittering Agent to make Shiva Stabilizer. Toss Latticeburrow in there to transform it one final time.
How do I get (Fruit 9)?
Hint: With a creation seed in hand, you'll need more. From between the titans of light and dark, beginning and end, a new form emerges. Travesty.
Spoiler: Use creation seeds on a gourd and latticeburrow to make background arts which, for the most part, do nothing but look cool as base decorations. These two specifically, however, when placed close enough together (There is slack here, though you can still choose to overlap them lol), make the creation seed instead create a new plant. This new plant begins as a giant background plant like the others, but is functional. It will provide not fruit, but glassware. Various kinds for various purposes.
What now?
Hint: Go and explore. Mix things together, eat/drink things, make terrible mistakes and find out how to fix them.
Spoiler: It would be too long to put everything here, but just mix things and experiment. Eat stuff, drink stuff, die to stuff, heal from stuff, all that. Notable discoveries to seek out are Coresauce, Peacemeal, Timecrete, and dare I say it Spaghetti Cat Powder.
And with that out of the way
I had a lot of fun making this mod and will add to it every now and again.
If you encounter any issues, let me know.
Happy noitering, go do some gardening.

Timecrete is the key to building with brickwork and spaghetti cat powder is in fact real

Mix brine and brakeless (which you should have discovered by the mere existence of one of the bloods being exposed to air) and try mixing that with stuff, then take what you get and mix it with other stuff as per usual. There's still quite a few things you haven't found such as a food upgrade involving hot chocolate, a way to neutralize coresauce, and a way to build with brickwork.

Gourds are found in the same place as the base game, go left and climb the wall
Seeds are explained in the first spoiler
Getting (generally) everything else is also explained in those

Just wanted to update: the mod causing issues was either Graham's Things or Alchemical Reactions Expansion.
