Description
!IMPORTANT!
This is a optional addon mod for the The Empire Reborn mod, it needs both that mod and the required mods listed at the bottom to work.

Bast, the biggest battlefield of Kenshi, and an area that i always felt had a great oportunity for added depth, so now with the use of new locations, worldstates, characters, dialogue, camps and squads , the ravaged warzones of Bast trully feel like a place where two empires clash agains't each other.

Features:

CHARACTERS AND TOWNS:

-Added a handfull of new locations that give more variety and roleplay oportunities, from small scout watchposts to ruined army bases, as well as overhauling the ravaged hamlets, guard towers, and other already existing bases in the region to make them more unique, with a focus on remaining unbloated and not affecting performance.

-Added new armours and items to the Holy Army to go in sintony with the upgrades made to the Empire forces, now both nations have more unique and detailed looks that retain the base game aesthetics, this is made with the use of amazing armours made by other talented creators.

SQUADS, WORLDSTATES AND CAMPS:

-Added new random spawning camps to the Bast Region, from ruined battlefields to assault camps filled with soldiers.

-New squads roam the warzone as well as integrating new characters and assets to old squads of the Empire.

-Overhauled the world-states related to the locations within Bast, now you can see the area grow more prosperous for either side of the conflict depending on your actions, patches for mayor world-state mods are linked at the bottom in case you prefer to use those.

LOAD ORDER
The mod has to be loaded above The Empire Reborn, for more info check the load order section at The Empire Reborn Collection

Dunno if its just me

Holy Sentinels are not spawning with crusader armor...they are just in clothes....

Load order is correct

Helo, some of the Towers are named twice. By that, I mean there are 2 different town markers in 1 spot. Also, some Hamlet markers on the map may be empty, particularly I can confirm that one marker beside the Guard Outpost South.

I've checked by loading this mod alone to confirm and it was a positive. It doesn't seem to be game-breaking (I think?) But it's tickling my brain seeing the 2 layer of town names on the map.

Amazing mods btw, your work really improved the game, Keep up the good work! :awkward:

Should be fixed now, no idea why it duplicated like that, and ill look into the bigger buildings idea, the only issue is that since the mod doesnt touch the residents, only the buidlings, i would have to change the buildings in the cities by adding more big ones, but it can be done

Also, deleting one of them doesnt really fix anything because you cant walk into either of them.

So i went to go check out the tower next to Okran's Fist and now theres 2 towers merged inside each other, just checked it on a new save and got the same results.

One thing for the city overhaul mod i'd really like to suggest is for the option to buy bigger buildings btw. With the new buildings added, you lose out on a lot of roof access that was actually really good for crafting in cities so using some of the bigger house options for places players can buy would be a really welcoming thing.

@Minato Aqua Is God I just patched Bast War, the patch between the forts mod and Empire Reborn and Empire Reborn itself, and all issues you mentioned should be fixed. Im planing on doing a big update for Empire Reborn to rework some things that i can do better now since ive learned some more modding stuff, so it hopefully will fix any rough edges still present

I just tested on a fresh save and the Nagata override worked without any issues after killing Tengu, i dont know why it bugged out in my main playthrough though as i did nothing different for the most part. I do have the patch and its loading correctly. I didnt test the tower yet, to explain what i did there, i went to the tower, killed the HN there, left and killed the inquisitors at both Okran forts and then came back when it showed it was green (UC) and it had a whole army of HN in the tower (easily 20+ soldiers) and the tower was still owned by HN, the shack next to it said it was owned by UC but it was completely empty.

Are you using the patch too? Make sure its overriding the mods, otherwise i can see it conflicting, it should be like this:

-Empire Reborn.mod
-Reactive World.mod
-ER - Reactive World Patch.mod

Otherwise i will keep checking
