Edit : I have removed some unecesary stuff/made the fake antline more straight.

Your analysis is correct, the main feature of this chamber being the antline going from the first pedestal button and connecting to nothing. The same could have been done with the antline really connecting the pedestal to the moving platform and using an AND gate but that's for the proof of concept. That's what I called "fake antlines", I actually wrote a detailed guide about it :)

This can be done with hidden mechanics, right?
Like, if the buttons were connected to a hidden laser which is connected to the elevator?
I'm assuming the thing with this map is that the buttons and pedestal both show antlines, and they are all connected to the elevator but the buttons dont show antlines towards the elevator?

I like it ^^ glitch?

Just bring the two cubes on the two buttons and the pedestal button in the first room will work
