STPHaT | Tractor 3-Point Hitch Standard

Description
Standard of Three-Point Hitches and Tools.

This standard is made for anyone to use with no crediting required. The point is to achieve interchangeability between all tractors and their 3-Point hitch systems.
The system supports SIBTaT fully for the normal trailer hitch and is encouraged to be used by us.

Main Elements and Dimensions:
- 2 Hardpoint connector parts on pivots for up and down motion, spaced 3 blocks apart
- 1 Electric Connector, on a pivot at 0.25 pointing upwards from the lower arms, while staying flush with the arms

Logic on Hardpoints:
Ch. 1 = Release node

Logic on Cable: (all optional)
Ch. 1 = Marker Lights
Ch. 2 = Brake Lights
Ch. 3 = Right Turn Signal
Ch. 4 = Left Turn Signal
Ch. 5 = Extra Function Button (can be anything from a worklight to a node to turn the tool on)

This vehicle includes everything you need to set the system up, with some example configurations and adapters for other common 3-Point hitches.

we didnt include a PTO as it would take quite a bit more space to add it and its not really functional anyways

do you also have PTO thought out in this system? I know that you can not really transmit "mechanical" power through connectors but you can simulate it with a electric generator and electricity.

extra channel is fine, but only for minor things, turning on the tool is pretty major
Nick Name 27 Jun, 2024 @ 2:46pm
yes, but imagine the tractor assumes that channel to be to turn on the tool, while the tool assumes it to be for smthing else, like lowering the ramp or smthing
Kamppa  [author] 27 Jun, 2024 @ 1:49pm
that is kinda the point of the extra function, to turn on the tool or for some additional lights etc. you could also either add new nodes or repurpose unused nodes

you should have a dedicated channel to turn the tool on's, not just a channel that does everything
