Fucking THANK you. As a real-life pharmacist, the way meds work in this game pisses me off. Why do we have to wait for people to get hospitalized for asthma??

Alright thanks, will check it out later and probably change it to a drug

Yeah, the Conditional hediff thing is cool, but the way this is applied is worrying from a performance perspective. If it were me, I would get rid of the JobGiver patch, the JobDriver, and the WorkGiver and just make this a normal drug that inherits from MakeableDrugBase and defines a non-addictive, Medical-type drug that is scheduled, the same way Penoxycyline works in vanilla.

uhhhh yeah I just took a look at this solution and I'm not sure it's the best way to do this. Every time any pawn goes to get food, it checks if it has Asthma, hasn't already treated it, and then if it's carrying a ventolin. That's a pretty hefty performance hit.

You might also want to look at setting up a DefOf class, because it is way more performant than using ThingDef.def.defName and doing a string comparison.

@Delmain yeah,I added a jobGiver and i tested it a bit and they should still take one per day automatically
