Polish translation of the Software Inc.. Currently, the Beta 1.8.17 content has been translated.


The translation was mostly done by a human. THIS IS NOT raw machine translation.

> 💡 The translation of the tutorial (Tutorial.tyd file) was supported by machine translation, any mistakes were corrected and adjusted to the context.

We have been watching the progress of the "official" localization in Localizor [www.localizor.com]for a long time and there has been little if any progress. We believe that introducing Localizor integration into the game is a mistake, because since the integration, no other language than English (US) has been completed (as of 2024-06-29). The voting system ("likes") does not make translation easier when the community involved is very small. That is why we decided to directly translate the game to Polish and release our work as a modification.

The files are written in TyD, so all versions of the game before Alpha 11.1.1 do not support this translation.
We thought about people who do not have Software Inc on Steam or prefer to download and install modifications manually without Steam DRM, so you can also download our Polish version from the external repository Forgejo [z0ne.dev].


- Minimum version of the Software Inc. Alpha 11.1.1.


Steam

Just click the green "Subscribe" button and the translation will download and install automatically.

Non Steam (Windows)
> If you do not have Software Inc on Steam or if you want to download Polish version without DRM you can go to external repository[z0ne.dev].

1. Download the zip file from the repository and save it on your computer.
   
2. Steam default location - Unpack the folder "nieoficjalne_spolszczenie" to
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Software Inc\Localization
   Custom location - Unpack the folder "nieoficjalne_spolszczenie" to the "Localization" folder in the installed game path, for example
   C:\Games\Software Inc\Localization
3. Done!

You can change the language in the game:

1. By clicking the "English" button in the upper left corner.
   
2. In the displayed panel on the left side you will see the installed translation "Nieoficjalne Spolszczenie Gry Software Inc".
   
3. Click on the Polish version, after a while you will notice that the main menu is now in Polish.
   
4. Done!
   
5. (Optional) Restart the game. Some words or sentences may still be untranslated.

Steam
Hover over the green "Subscribed" button, it will change its name to "Unsubscribe", click it. Steam will automatically uninstall the translation.

Non Steam (Windows)

1. Steam default location - Go to path
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Software Inc\Localization
   Custom location - Go to the "Localization" folder in the installed game path, for example
   C:\Games\Software Inc\Localization
2. Select the "nieoficjalne_spolszczenie" folder and delete it.
   
3. Done!

Have you found a mistake? Please read this section before reporting.

• The game uses some words several times in different places, so words may not fit into some sentences or contexts.
  
• If you noticed differences in the Polish and default English (US) language in the game, it is because we could not fully translate the sentences to fit the Polish grammar. Therefore, they were changed or simplified.
  
• Found an untranslated word or sentence? It is likely that we could not find the right context and that is why we left the line. Please take a screenshot and share it with us so we can translate and adjust it accordingly.
