Mitosis (SP gimmick map)

Description
Here's a "quick gimmick map that should take around 1 week or 1 month to make" that ended up getting a 9th degree burn on the backburner...

The goal is simply to kill a single gnaar that refuse to stay dead. Good luck!

  • The lenght of the map is around 15 minutes and I recommend any difficulties below Serious for a 1st playthrough, because it give the gnaars bonus speed and can make them REALLY clingy
  • The music is Blade & Switch from Epic Battle Fantasy 5 (made by Phyrnna)
  • Some (not all) supporting enemies will respawn infinitely. They will stop spawning and despawn after the Mitosis die, but their long respawn time make killing them still a reliable strategy
  • I don't recommend playing this map in MP, because the goal of the map probably don't work if the aggro of the enemies is split between multiple players. You have been warned!
  • The original idea was made for Doom2 and hell knights, but since I had never touched UDB nor any ACS scripting stuff when I had the idea, I made it on SE instead
  • I used albino gnaars instead of the regular ones, because their bonus health simulate the same feeling as blasting hell knights. The player have bonus speed to compensate
  • The final arena was mostly made for people who love to massacre a bunch of enemies with the cannon. Don't take it too seriously
  • Might need JOTN DLC or not, idk I just wanted my map to be a cool grass field and I think the grass texture is from JOTN...
  • If you try to find this map in the editor (for whatever reason), it's located in the SSHD folder, because I thought making this in SSHD would have been a good idea (it wasn't)
  • Please please PLEASE don't write you comment in Russian. I'm not russian, so Google translate your comment YOURSELF! >:C

I'm not good enough to beat this one even on Hard mode, but I like it for how unique of a concept it is, good work!

The goal of this map is to be able to kill 1000 gnaars without getting killed by the supporting enemies and NOT to survive as long as you can, so I don't see the point of misleading people into thinking it's a survival map...
