I've noticed that a lot of people have had trouble defeating the first boss, Deadlift, so i created this guide to provide a list of his weaknesses and ways to take him down.

I've noticed that Deadlift seems to have a weakness against bullets. I know that may seem a bit ridiculous to you right now, but try it out and i promise he WILL take damage.

Ways to defeat Deadlift

I've tried many different strategies, but there is only one successful way to defeat Deadlift: You have to kill him. I understand that this may be a fact that's hard for you to accept, but this is the only way. We will all miss the way he yelled obscenities at us, and he will always be with us... in our hearts.

The single best tip I read for the Deadlift fight is that you can shoot the orbs he shoots at you and destroy them before they explode on your face. Made the fight 1000% easier.

In Normal Mode: Get an electric Sniper. Stay in one spot. Shoot at him until he dies. No need of Jump Pads.
TVHM: Get Electric Sniper or Vladof Bolshka (ignores shields), Keep Moving and shooting. Avoid Electric floor.
UVHM: Same as TVHM.
