Ukraine has not yet perished!

The flag of Ukraine consists of two horizontal bands of equal width: blue on the top and yellow on the bottom. This design is known as a bicolor, and each color carries specific symbolism:

Blue: Represents the sky over Ukraine and the country's hopes for the future. It also symbolizes peace.

Yellow: Represents the golden fields of wheat that are abundant in Ukraine, as well as the country's prosperity and wealth.

The current flag of Ukraine was officially adopted on January 28, 1992, shortly after Ukraine gained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. The design dates back to 1848 when it was first used during the Revolutions of 1848 by Ukrainian nationalists.

The proportions of the Ukrainian flag are typically 2:3, meaning its length is one and a half times its width. The blue and yellow colors have deep historical and cultural significance in Ukraine, and the flag is a widely recognized national symbol that is prominently displayed during national holidays, official events, and international competitions.

The flag of Ukraine reflects the country's identity, history, and aspirations for a peaceful and prosperous future.
