Description
The Wolverine Class Tactical Destroyer

A Star Trek inspired Destroyer. Or specifically a Heavy Corvette if running LM13’s Xavorion Mod Pack. She sports a unique tri slot design, helping to bulk her out without adding mass. Tri Nacelle layout will help keep her moving, even under excessive fire. Fields 8 turret locations; 6 small size 0.5 on each of the outreaching Ridges, then 2 size 1 on the top where the tail necks down (these can not fire straight forward, and are intended to help the AI orient itself… sometimes).

The Ship gets its name from the slot design, specifically what, or rather who it reminded me of. Intended to be a simple build. It came out rather unique in my eyes.

Main Specs:

- Xanion Core Components, Trinium Armor, Naonite Framework, Iron Inertia Dampers

- Cost = 2,627,592 credits; 199,359 Xanion; 32,650 Trinium; 700 Naonite; 22,760 Iron
- Hull = 170K
- Shield = 278K
- 3034 Blocks
- 34 Required Crew, Space for 59
- Slots = 6, easily pushable to 7

Intended Use Case:

- Direct Combat, Escort, Cannon Fodder. Whatever you want…

Caveats:

- Xavorion based design. So base game movement stats will be different. To alleviate this I have added a grouping of stacked Naonite framework blocks in the mid section(before the hangar bay). Just transform all Naonite Framework to Gyros.

- Your armor pattern will vary. I am using a modified version of ATJ Texture Pack by \|BD|/ specifically my Trinium textures are different.

- There is further framework in the Nacelles, and Scafolding, to boost engine performance or whatever you want. If opting for engines the other engines in the nacelle are colored black with secondary black, to minimize the visual effect, as there is independent detail for engine visuals.

Notes:

- Converting the framework to Gyros, will exaggerate the roll performance. At least relative to the yaw and pitch. You may want to go in and specifically convert roll gyros back.

- Stacked blocks are encased in a thin layer of armor. This is because of them being a prefab, but it also prevents visual oddities.

- It Costs 8,484,232 Credits when built at Xanion Level in Xavorion, Via Advanced Shipyard.
