D!Edith

Description
[repentogon.com]
As a result, this mod does not and will not work on Repentance+ until REPENTOGON is ported to it!

Stiff as a statue, D!Edith's (not to be confused with the character with the identical design and name from Antibirth) gimmick involves being incapable of shooting tears while moving. Charging weapons are exempt from this, however.

To counteract D!Edith’s limited controls, she has the ability to stomp by pressing the drop key (shooting makes her stomp in a direction!). Landing from a stomp damages nearby enemies and puts you on a 2.5 second cooldown (that scales with tears).

Directly landing on an enemy while dealing enough damage to kill it will count as a 'critical kill', instantly recharging your jump cooldown and preventing enemy death effects.

D!Edith has over 100 custom synergies! A list containing all synergies can be found here[moddingofisaac.wiki.gg].

D!Edith has a full set of 13 unlockables, with 4 active items, 8 passive items and 1 familiar. Here's a couple of them!

Salt Shaker is a returning item from Antibirth with a new use, letting you use D!Edith's signature stomps as anyone!

Hemorrhoid is a unique risk-reward item that increases your fire delay the longer you stand still. Standing for too long hurts you, however!

D!Edith has a page on IsaacGuru's Laboratory[isaacguru.com] and a wiki][moddingofisaac.wiki.gg] for more info.

D!Edith has compatibility for the following mods:

External Item Descriptions, both for Edith's synergies and her unlocks.
POG for Good Items, to make Edith pog.
Accurate Blurbs, for more accurate tooltips.
God's Gambit, for guaranteed Super Virtue mini boss fights in Alt Path.
And more coming soon.
Fiend Folio, featuring plenty of new synergies and item interactions.
The Future, Steven acknowledges Edith.
Passive Skill Trees, features interactions with Edith's unlockables.
Tainted Cain Rework, adding recipes for Edith's unlockables.

Out of any mod I've played, this one feels the most like it could just be thrown in the game as an update and fit perfectly. All the items are inventive but not over the top, the character is fun and the synergies are impressive. Amazing mod!!

I think Tainted Edith should say "Coming Soon" or something instead of "Locked". "Locked" implies that you can unlock Tainted Edith when she doesn't actually exist yet

for some reason this mod is the only one that makes my game run a little bit slower, even without other mods or using others even bigger than this one, any idea?
