Description
Some OP&P Bicentennial Diesels

History
1776 (GP9) was built by EMD in 1958 for the Oregon Portland & Pacific Railroad, she was use to pull Passenger & Freight Trains much of her career, in 1975 though, 1776 & 1976 (SD40-2) were painted into American Scheme to celebrate Bicentennial, 1776 was retired by OP&P in 1983 when Northern Locomotive Works (NLW, my fictional locomotive builder.) introduced their N870 for their Northern-Series. 1776 was preserved by OP&P, and was donated to the Friends of SP 4449 where she operates to pull Holiday Express Trains.

1976 (SD40-2) is built by EMD in 1972 for the Oregon Portland & Pacific Railroad, unlike 1776 (GP9) 1976 was use to pull freight trains much of her career, in 1975 1976 and 1776 was painted into the American Scheme to celebrate Bicentennial, as of today, this engine is still in operation by the OP&P
