I know what you mean about any station terrain. There's This other map creator, their name's Sunny, who's just started making a map of their own and they dived right into custom station textures. Huge pain in the ass from what they shared about the process. That said, ya ain't experienced in creating good textures yet . Can't wait for the day you'll get there!
Wouldn't know the intangibles behind mapdesign but if anything pops up on my radar come time I start shootin' at some players around these rocks you'll be the 2nd or 3rd to know.
Darkness is fixed.
I'm not the biggest fan of adding station terrain due to how all the extra textures inflates the size of the map and I'm not that experienced in creating good textures.
Currently working on another map, once that's done Ill go back and update previous maps that have issues.
Huge fan of the overall design; I think I see what you were going for on the E & D points.
My dumbass is running into some issues with the AI's pathfinding though when they got stuck for small periods of time when I took it for a spin. Every map's got its 'lil dorky spots that'll bamboozle the AI but it does happen rather often. Wouldn't know how to fix it but I'm sure you'd know what to do there.
Its also kinda dark! I know your other maps have got little installations scattered around. Would an occasional mining rig or habitat near the points, say maybe on the surface of some of the asteroids sound like a good idea? If lightless and spooky is the vibe here, you nailed it on the head <3
