it might likely. i do not use that mod. but yeah, the laser mod has these weapons as spacer level already.

Maybe it has to do something with Factions expanded.

I've never seen tribals come in with lasers. Is there another mod you are using? I'm pretty sure that these guns are spacer tech.

Would it be much to ask to put a patch so rimlaser counts as a spacer tech? Don't want any tribals roaming around with a laser machine gun.

Just a couple suggestions for this mod's listing on the Workshop. You really should set up the dependencies so that steam knows what mod/s this patch requires.
Additionally, in this mod's description, you need to remove the parenthesis ( and ) from the URL linking to RimLaser. Steam is still stupid and thinks those characters are part of the link you're posting, resulting in a bad link.
