Items included:
Deep Sea Water pump
Efficient Water pump that pumps a lot of water.
  • Needs to be flooded to work!
  • Golem only
  • uses Pine resin to filter and seal building.
  • Need Power at Big log or from bottom in to work

Pipes / Pipe pump
Pump that pumps to other side of Levee
  • also exist a few different versions but most have some pipes between two levees with entry/exit on the outside
  • You will find the items under blue sub groups of the Water tab.
  • Will not pump water higher than block height of outlet pipe
  • Underground takes extra power compared to normal pipes
  • Exists a 5,10,15 long between levees versions and underground version

Powered Levee
Works as a levee and transfer power Up down and to the side
Universal Powered Levee
Same as above but transfer in all directions

Aqueducts
there is a series of Aqueduct pieces,
and the space with a Wall can not have any water enter it.
  • Not only the part that is the wall, but full block.
  • And only one block can have a wall in one space if its not a Decoration wall.

Aqueduct 1x1, 1x5 Long
  • Metal aqueduct with Floor and wall on each side that blocks water under and on each side

Aqueduct ,5 Long
  • Same as above but only wall on one side

Aqueduct Floor, 1x5, 2x2, 3x3, 5x5
  • Same as Impregnable floor but same texture as other Aqueduct floors. Path can be build on them if supported underneath.

Aqueduct Lid, 5 Long
  • Lid for Aqueduct to stop water from spilling

Aqueduct Corners
some different corner pieces to help with it

Aqueduct Wall
  • Decoration wall that do not block water but helps with illusion that it does when an other Aqueduct piece have blocked water in a space already.

Aqueduct Sluice
  • Sluice that also fit inside Aqueducts and on impregnable floors

Turbine Small
  • Turbine that generates power in line with the water flow
meaning same direction as the shaft.

Items moved to seperate Addon "Irrigation"
this is so if Timbercommon is broken it can be disabled.

Irrigation tower
  • Basic irrigation tower with a worker to help transfer water

Efficient Irrigation tower
  • More advance tower for
  • FT Boosts tree growth or normal function but little bigger range without extract
  • IT Blocks contamination but uses power

Big Irrigation Tower
  • Very big tower that uses power to cover a big area for a low water cost

Discountiued:
  • One Way Valve: Sluices does the same so its removed

You mean "OldGopher Pipes" mod?
The description of that confuses me;
"With the Pipes mod, you can connect multiple water tanks or ponds without needing power, using only water pressure...."
-- but it lists a water-pump.
A water-pump w/o power need would not feel right.
Since this also seems not-up-to-date, I have to asume, that is the exact mod you are talking about.
Thx for the tip, I try to keep an eye on that.

and regarding the water pump i can not do it straight up as if there is imprengnable floors or levees above an outlet of water it crashes the game
one thing is the u6 mod pipes if that get updated

"Turbines is best placed so its shaft is in the same direction as the water flow"
Err... isn't that self-explanatory?
Unless you mean, that there's more than two directions for it (left side, right side, front and back)
I interpret them to be bi-directional from back to front and front to back...

"have you checked the high power pump?"
I need something sleek.
Base problem is this: If I want to have irrigation from underneath, with giant underground waterreservoires, they are only ever gonna be good for as long as the first layer did not evaporate.
So, in times of drought, I would love to have the opportunity, by pumping water up,(all hidden away neatly), from a pool to a flat layer just below the surface (I know I know: these evaporate more quickly), so that my main water-resources (dam) don't need to be opened for that.
A rather specific concern, but it bothers me, that there is no option for that.

what i mean is that i reuse any existing code that the devs have created with different parameters using unity editor and nice gui so no have code and stuff that more likely to break hard at game updates

so my pumps is the mec pump with other power req and different input and output pos

also have you checked the high power pump?

Turbines is best placed so its shaft is in the same direction as the water flow see the mods image for example :)

wouldn't it be possible, to manipulate the number that tells the sluice (?), what the height of the water column is on each side, and manipulate it by adding 1 or 2 or 3 to it, to get the desired outcome? (or is the sluice solely governed by acting like a [one way] "open block" when open, and closed when closed?.... it baffles me at times, how the water that was in a sluice when it closes, seems to teleport on top of my dams xD)

What do you mean by dont write your own code?
you are the only mod author listed here and on some other mods.
Going by that, I had the impression of a good mod author.
+ You also worked with the spiral staircases mod?
That mod and the water power extension are the only two I probably really don't want to do with out (and flywheels, to an extend; as they offer a better alternative early and mid game)

Anyway: much appreciated!
My brain really can't let go of trying to figure out the best arrangement of turbines, in my first giant dam... ^^

Praetorian_INTP i could to a sluice that transfer power but for a function that do not exist in base game code is needed to add that function and to keep more mods and be able to maintain them i keep to codeless mods meaning i write no own code. some mods use others code like irrigation tower that use timbercommon
Praetorian_INTP 28 Jun @ 1:03am
Alternatively: a powered sluice would be nice. (would still be called a "pump", though)
3 modes:
open
closed
pressurized.
The last mode would allow it, provided it has power (!), to force water from one side onto the other, even if the water on the input side is lower than the output.
Limitations may apply. (e.g. not more than 3 in additional height? - maybe only 2? - anything else? ... ideally, power consumption should rise, as the difference gets larger, and cease completely / sink dramatically, if there is a positive differential (input>output) )

But, this mod here really ain't it.
Praetorian_INTP 27 Jun @ 8:53am
I'm really just searching for a block, that can pump water up one block (with power) ... not much, but so that it can be combined for a water staircase, maybe. -- could look like a little archimedian spiral (would make for a very fitting design), if properly sealed on the output side?
I know there's a pump in the base game, but it is freakin huge, and does not really allow for a smooth integration into closed dam structures or underground pipes.
And it's freakin huge! - did I say that already?

Anyway.
This mod does not seem to be it.
But am really enjoying the extension of this. The turbines of that other mod give me lots of ideas (actually got it because of that levee/power block -- a heaven sent!)
^^
