Description
Better M16 script.
Just like in 'nam.

This script is intended for players who want a more powerful M16 in L4D2 that fulfills the role of a jack of all trades AR. I gave it some large buffs without making it extremely overpowered.


Stat changes (Simple)
*Higher DPS (377 > 480)
*Higher fire rate
*Lower recoil
*Reduced spread
*Reduced damage dropoff
*More penetration

Stat changes (Full)
+Increased damage (33 > 40)
+Increased fire rate per minute (686 > 720) / fire rate per second (11.43 > 12)
+Removed damage dropoff at low to mid range
+Increased range dropoff threshold (1500 > 2000)
+Decreased spread per shot (0.75 > 0.65)
+Increased standing spread reduction (0.4 > 0.2)
+Decreased moving spread (5 > 4)
+Increased penetration count (2 > 3)
+Increased penetration power (50% > 80%)
+Reduced max spread (30 > 20)

On another note, I believe that the way I made this mod is the way it should be in Vanilla.

Try using Better SCAR and Better SG 556.

After using this mod for a couple months, I think It's just as powerful as the AK. It takes 5 shots to kill commons in expert realism and 3 on expert campaign, it's insanely good at killing specials and It can kill tanks just as fast as the AK. But it's balanced due to its ammo management (still terrible), it cannot one shot commons in normal difficulty and, unlike the AK, it cannot knockback sitting witches. Not OP, the AK just got some real competion.

if you play "Hard Eight" mutation,you can make m16 damage from 40 to 35,and the "MaxMovementSpread" original data from 5 to 3,other modifications remain unchanged by youself.This modifications make the m16 no extremely overpowered to Scar and Ak47

Tbh the only buff this gun needs is infinite ammo or at least more than 360 because it's the only gun people use that seemingly always runs out of ammo with the exception of shotguns which is to be expected if you're not with your team much.
