Description
Hailing from the harsh lands far to the north, Viking raiders were a constant across hundreds of years, both before and during the Old Empire's rule. The discovery and use of suspendium had surprisingly little effect on their raiding behaviour, as flying raiders are just as effective and difficult to stop as waterborne raiders were in times past; the main difference is that cities far from rivers are now also at risk. Viking battle doctrine is very simple, they like to get in close and fight man to man, whether that be with short-ranged weapons or (preferably) by boarding actions. They have always had great disdain for long-ranged weaponary on airships, deeming them the preserve of cowards who are scared of a real fight; although they do begrudgingly use long-range weapons on their fortifications, as they have lost too many towns due to enemies sniping their buildings from range.

This fleet replaces the stock "Viking" fleet with a new one consisting of 49 Airships across 7 Tiers and 15 Buildings across 5 Tiers, uses four special resources, and is updated for Version 1.2, Heroes & Villains, and the 2023 Halloween update.

Airships:
Karvi - Longboats utilising boarding, Grenades, and Flamethrowers.
Snekkja - Longboats using boarding, Grapeshot, Gatling Guns, and a version also using the Acid Spitter.
Skei - Longboats leaning primarily into boarding, with verisons using Grenadiers, Mech Spiders, and Clockwork Janissaries.
Ragnarök - A flagship carrying a swarm of Aerial Hussars.
Beserker - A Longboat armed with a giant saw blade for those who really enjoy getting up close and personal.
Light Beserker - A Beserker that has removed the boarders and armour in order to get its saw blade to hitherto unheard of altitudes where most of its targets don't have large amounts of armour.

Buildings:
Lighthouse - Used mainly for helping lost airships to navigate, they now have some basic defensive armament.
Mead Hall: The main heavy armament in defense of Viking towns is based around the town rulers' mead halls. They are relatively resistant to cannon fire, and are generally intended so that there is nowhere to hide from their all-around firepower.
Jarl's Palace: A larger, grander mead hall owned by the richest and most powerful Jarls is able to provide greater defensive forepower.
Ølaf the Lofty's Laboratory: The great inventor can be called upon to put some of his more esoteric inventions towards the defence of the realm when required.

The tech tree has been re-ordered to give as strong a start as possible, while prioritising long-term exonomy and research income. They should also proritise capturing certain key resources on the map.
