Louisiana Creole Flag

Ethnic Flag for Louisiana Creoles. People who have immigrated from France or Spain during the Colonial Years before Louisiana was admitted into the United States. Most (but not all) Louisiana Creoles are mixed with multiple ethnicities: French, Spanish, African, Native American (Choctaw) etc. During these Colonial Years many Mixed Creoles had power unlike many other places in the world. Owned property, businesses, were very well educated, and had the same rights and privileges as whites. To this day most Louisiana Creoles will refuse to be labeled as just "Mixed", keeping hold of their culture and heritage.
