Half Lance Mk3A1 - Light Fighter - The King of Fighters

Description
The Half Lance Mk3A1 is the most maneuverable fighter in space. It can reach speeds of 105 m/s in an impressive 5 seconds which is bested by few; but when it comes to speed on turning and fire power to weight ratio it is second to none. The Half Lance is designed primarily to counter fighters as opposed to battle ships or stations because of its high amount of Auto reloading Vulcan Cannons, 20 to be precise, and fewer manual reload rocket banks. However, the Half Lance Mk3A1’s nose guns can eliminate a standard turret in less than a second and is equipped with two weapon clamps for delivering a payload to heavy or large targets while the vehicles maneuverability reduces enemy rocket attacks to a laughable matter. No matter its pilot’s target you can be sure any enemy of the Half Lance MK3A1 has a serious problem. This fighter is commonly referred to as the” Muhammad Ali” by many of its pilots in the U.S.S.C.; fore it truly “Float[s] like a butterfly [and] stings like a bee”

Acceleration: 0 - 105 m/s in 5 seconds using only forward thrust
Armament: 20 Vulcan Cannons, 2 Missile Batteries of 3 (6 Total)
Mass: 66,368 KG
Power Plant: 3 Large Reactors
Thrusters Count: 32 Large
Storage: 1 Medium Cargo Container + 2 Small Containers
Landing Gear: 3
Armor Grade: Light
Weapons Clamps (Merge Blocks): 2
Complete Automated Conveyor System in a semi-redundant layout on board (+Stocked for survival ready)

Other Specifications:
Armor:
Components inside the vehicle are armored from the outside in addition to internal compartmentalization. All components outside the vehicle are mostly covered with light armor skirts with emphasis towards the nose of the vehicle. As long as the cockpit is intact this vehicle has the capability of taking several single missile hits while still maintaining a level of functionality. The Cockpit Is sunk partially into the fighter thus lowering its exposure and bringing its survivability to more of a reality.

Maneuverability:
This vehicle's best weapon is its maneuverability and speed and can easily dodge missiles at close range. The elevation thruster are double the windage thrusters, therefore the vehicle is designed to loop with the axis of the arc above or below at a minor slant to achieve maximum use of thrusters during the bank. Using this method the Half Lance Mk3A1 can easily maintain a 105m/s speed with the ability to scrape the surface of a large asteroid. Testing and Experience has shown that dodging automatic turret fire is easily done at a constant bank while minorly or more changing distance from target when close. This is more effective than zigzagging and this method will easily dodge Vulcan Cannon fire at 100 meters or more. This vehicle is so maneuverable that the thrusters will destroy themselves and armor skirts when thruster damage is enabled. I recommend disabling thruster damage for this reason. The thrusters are so powerful for the vehicles weight that a “Docking Mode” is required to keep the vehicle from destroying its own docking clamps during docking. (second tool bar, it just turns off a bunch of thrusters)

Armament:
The Vulcan Cannons are arranged in a way that widens the fighter’s field of fire to raise its ability to hit highly maneuverable targets while also boasting a heavy concentration of fire in the nose to allow a quick shredding of anything on point.
The Missile Banks must only be activated one at a time and are set up in a staggering pattern to avoid Friendly collisions. The missiles may be fired one bank at a time during intense maneuvering but only firing when maneuvering is more conservative is recommended. The rocket banks are positioned in a way that makes it impossible for a missile from one's own fighter to take out the cockpit and can only damage the nose of the vehicle.

Internal Materials Transport:
All Reactors, Storage Components and Vulcan Cannons are connected via a single yet semi-redundant-semi-parallel (SRSP) conveyor system. However the is no direct access to the Reactors, Vulcan Cannons, Or Medium Cargo Container. The System is accessible only through two Small Cargo Containers located under the Cockpit. Do not let the vehicle run out of Uranium.

Other Notes:
The Vehicle Is equipped with 3 Cameras, Remote Control devise, Antenna, Beacon and Spot Light.
Thruster Count: 12 Forward, 6 Up, 6 Down, 3 Port, 3 Starboard, 2 Reverse. All thrusters are large
I spend a Lot of time Developing my vehicles to perfection; you would not be disappointed fighting with this. This vehicle has been heavily modified 3 times, each one after extensive testing, hence the MK3. I also replicated this fighter in my survival world (no copy and paste) and made additional tweaks to the mostly perfected Mk3 version inside and out during construction and after a number of pirating operations. This vehicle is perfection in function as far as us mere mortals can achieve during the alpha of this game. As long as all the reactors are functional you will never overload unless three direction are simultaneously in maximum over burn during deceleration, but doing that will decelerate you from 105 m/s – 0 in less than one second, so you might not even see it happen if you do manage to maneuver like that (Full over burn is 3 times more powerful than full throttle).

lol, I looked at your pitiful craft. you are delusional. I challenge you to a dog fight.

Such a joke. 486 Stinger MK10 would munch it and spit it back out. Nevermind the Sledgehammer.
Full Review at The Fighter Review: Issue 8

Aesthetics: ★★★★☆

The Half Lance is, aesthetically speaking, not bad at all. From a distance it looks a little boxy, but closer inspection reveals a carefully crafted ship - its lines flow well, and where they disrupt there tends to be a logical reason for it...

Systems: ★★★★★

Flying the Half Lance was a pleasure - the design eschews using small thrusters entirely and uses large thrusters for everything, which are overall well-balanced, giving the Half Lance peerless acceleration and handling...

Armament: ★★★★☆

The Half Lance bristles with armament - 18 cannons and 6 launchers total. Each cannon is conveyed, and the ship thunders with each pull of the trigger. Everything is well placed - tightly grouped and forward on the ship to reduce backfire...

Overall: 4.3 out of 5 ★.

*Business Shipment Cargo Ships, that's the biggest of the business class

Capacity depends on your world settings. With 400 cases of ammunition you can shread into nothing one of those large business shipment cargo containers and still have a bit of rounds left. The reload on the gattlings will automatically take from the cargo container and fill fully only when they are out of ammo. they don't stay at max capacity.

how long can it fire for (gatling) before a reload/what is ammo capacity?
