Description
Arma 2 FDF Podagorsk for Arma 3
This map is very old but still gold.

FDF Podagorsk is a region of Chernarus themed terrain.
Created by the FDF mod team for Arma 2.

This terrain is in peninsula with a river and several towns.
There is a military island in the south and an airfield used by FDF, USMC, and UN Forces.
A railway line runs to the north, serving as a valuable supply line for ChDKZ.
The season in Podagorsk is autumn, with beautiful trees greeting you.

Is this a re-upload?
Yes and No. it was. And I was not the original reuploader.
This mod has been slightly modified by me, so it's not just a re-upload.

This was used by a popular Arma 3 Server/Community in Japan.
They re-uploaded it publicly in the workshop, but the server was shut down and the addon was removed from the Workshop.

My friends loved this map so much.
(yes, they're fans of this map and FDF since Arma 2)
We shared it locally and used it after the page disappeared.
Today, I'll share it here again for all of you who love this map.
And I did some tweaks and fixes for this map.

Original Features
  • New terrain for Arma II Arma III.
  • 6 cities/villages.
  • River.
  • Lakes.
  • Railroads.
  • About 600,000 objects.
  • Custom ground textures.
  • More dispersed and lower grass clutters.

Changes from the Original
  • Requires CUP Terrains - Core or a similar item to work.
  • Server whitelist key is signed for Arma 3. FDF_Podagorsk_2024.bikey
  • Surface configs improved (added ace cannotDig, vehicle speed coefficient, dust effects, etc.)
  • Fixed missing footstep sound on concrete floors in the military base.
  • Removed intro mission (not compatible with Arma3).
  • Added mod icon.
  • Removed Chernarus (CUP Terrains - Maps) dependency.

Recommended Add-ons

Known Issues
  • Loading picture map is missing (using placeholder).
  • Some config is not optimized for Arma3 yet.
