LIM Krait-Class Flight II | Assault Carrier

The Krait and Kestra carriers both scratch their own itches. An assault/logistics carrier and a mobile station; but what if both were combined into one ship? Along with other various improvements to the hull and systems, the Krait Flight II introduces a streamlined Kestra interior while retaining the two forward gatling turrets, though they now have to be manually loaded from cargo containers accessible in the bridge.

In a list of improvements, the Flight II introduces double the atmospheric lift capabilities to improve fuel efficiency, introduces a 7th networked landing pad, numbers each pad to correspond with their respective docking ports, adds a robust interior for the captain and commander to live comfortably, adds a store and contract segment on the flight deck, adds far more cargo capacity carried over from the Kestra, and finally introduced two docking ports at either side of the vessel; allowing it to dock to stations and carry towed pods instead of requiring shuttles to service itself at ports. Additionally, a "combat cockpit" was added to the port-side cryo rack on the first level for piloting the ship when the bridge is hit, or when preparing for battle.
