Description
Description:
The Mikoyan MiG-29 is a twin-engine fighter aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. Developed during the 1970s it entered service with the Soviet Air Forces in 1983.
Many MiG-29s have been furnished as multirole fighters capable of performing a number of different operations, and are commonly outfitted to use a range of air-to-surface armaments and precision munitions.
This mod includes the following variants:
  • MiG-29SMT
  • MiG-29MU1
As well as a total of 35 liveries for all sorts of factions.

All variants support Arma 3s pylon system and as such varied loadouts.
AAF and LDF use ukrainian updated MiG-29s, capable of fielding an assortment of western and eastern weapons systems.

Known Issue
The reticle of the HUD isn't perfectly aligned.

Compatibility:
A CUP Version is included in Armored Fist.

This mod includes a compat file for FIR AWS(AirWeaponSystem), though since I do not use it there might be some oddities.

Ah, bummer. Well, if you ever change your mind, it's there and open source.

@Ace
Thanks for letting me know. While I do love the Su-47 and its an interesting thought I can't say that I have the time for this as I am quite busy with other projects. Nor do I currently have any interest in "modern time" stuff either, so it's not going to happen I'm afraid.

I know you probably aren't taking requests, but I figured I'd share this in case if was of interest to you.

This here (and its dependency) are open source Su-47 and Su-33 mods respectively. The Su-33 model needs some work because the pylons are jank but the Su-47 just needs modern scripting and it's basically good to go. Notably, it's not compatible with the Jets DLC or how any modern pylon stuff works in ArmA.

If it interests you, many of us would love to see this old mod repacked and resurrected. Again, it is open source, so you're allowed to do that. If you do, I'll bankroll a texture artist I know to give it lots of awesome skins.

Any chance we get pilot targeting camera?

In my opinion, the SMT version in the Russian Air Force is SM, because the SMT has external differences from the other 29s.

Same rules apply here as in my reply on the Tucano.

I would also like to assure you that the content of your mods will not be modified in any way - I intend to use them in their original form, without making any changes. My goal is only to combine them with other mods in one package to make it easier to share them on a private no-profit server.

@Luca
Hi

I am writing to you regarding your two mods - Embraer EMB 312 Tucano and MiG-29 - and would like to inquire about the possibility of including them in my mod pack as one mod, which I am preparing for a private, non-commercial server. I appreciate the tremendous amount of work you put into creating these models, and I would like them to be available in my project, of course with full respect for your rights as the creator.

I will include direct links to the original downloads of both mods and to your profile in the mod description, so that users can easily find the source and appreciate your work. If you have any additional conditions or preferences regarding the use of your mods, please let me know - I will be happy to accommodate them.
