Balanced Loadouts

Description
Balanced Loadouts

Fully revised loadouts for all mercs considering their levels, prices, skills, perks, and personality. This mod makes the mercs more realistic, interesting, and balanced.

If you use the awesome mod "Rato's Gameplay Balance and Overhaul 3" (GBO), then please use the compatible variant of this mod: "Balanced Loadouts for GBO".

Features
  • Only works for a new campaign.
  • Loadouts of A.I.M. mercs are improved and rebalanced.
  • I.M.P. gear is also revised.
  • Every loadout is unique and specific to its owner.
  • Much wider variety of weapons, modifications, grenades, explosives, etc.
  • Sidearms for mercs with sniper rifles.
  • The best mercs come with high-end weapons, which might be kept throughout the campaign.
  • Loadouts are made more realistic, but to allow further development, most low-level mercs still come with handguns, and the best weapons and modifications are rare or not used at all (e.g. PSG1 and thermal scope).

Compatibility
  • Compatible with version 1.5.x of the game.
  • Should be compatible with mods that do not change loadouts, weapons, and modifications.
  • If something does not work as expected, try to disable the mod, restart the game, and enable the mod again.

Notes
There are other similar mods, e.g. "Overhaul - Armed Merc" and "Better Hire Equipment", but I decided to create another one with focus on overall balance according to my personal preference, and to make a variant that is compatible with Rato's GBO mod.

Feedback is welcome. :)

@zenblack Thanks for the tip. I don't have such a plan as I'm not familiar with MoW yet. Maybe I will consider it later.

Consider making a compatible version with MoW?
