BARC Speeder Collection (Vanilla, 3 Variants)

Description

"Protect the Captain!"
"Jesse, you better get back here."

History

Despite earning their name from the elite Clone Bikers they were made for, BARC speeder quickly spread through all branches of the Republic Military and even beyond it. Fast, agile and deadly, BARCs were a reliable threat to Separatists' infantry, that were unlucky to be in the scopes of Republic's Top Guns - or, rather, simply were in their flight path. At some point, even Coruscant's Police Department probably had a glimpse at Shock Troopers riding on these new bikes, and ordered a significant batch of the special Police Model. However, nothing lasts forever, and prohibitively high costs of the BARC model forced Republic to first supplement it with 74-Z speeder bikes, and then the Empire would completely switch to the said model, abandoning it's Clone Wars legacy once and for all. Even decades after the war had ended, those who still had BARCs tended to keep them and take good care of the old-reliable speeders.

Pros: cheaper than dirt, practically infinite range inside the atmosphere.
Cons: no armament, and not really good outside the atmosphere.

Additional Notes:
  • This is practically just like any other aero-bike in SE, just styled after one seen in Star Wars. However, even in Star Wars we saw them fly at ridiculous altitudes in Revenge of the Sith, so arguments on the topic of "aero-bikes vs hover bikes" is rather pointless.
  • Speaking of which, "hugging the ground" may not be the best idea: this thing doesn't have all that much upward thrust, so in case of an emergency - you can easily slam into something if you don't give yourself enough space.
  • Also, I know people will be pissed at me for not including armaments with this thing - in my defense, there's literally not a single place one could place them at such a scale. And, to be completely honest - it's best to reserve this speeder to rear echelons, where you're not likely to get blasted, as riding something like this into battle should be considered suicide, frankly.
  • As this is a collection, and not a standalone model, all 3 BARC speeders come connected with a cyan row of blocks - just remove the blocks, and pick whichever variant you prefer.
  • Also yes, this thing can be carried by an LAAT just like in the TV show. I would, however, advise you to carry only one speeder at the time.

Pardon for being so late with new releases. Hopefully next model shouldn't take nearly as long...

Ok, A, you gave us the coruscant police version, that's already amazing (which lacked weapons), B, you gave us 2 other versions on top of that, which is still amazing, C, this thing seems to work fantastically in atmosphere, and D, um, even if this thing had guns, you would rarely (never) live long enough to get good use from them. So honestly, if people wanna get mad at the lacking weapons, that's on them. Keep up the good work! (And I'm so using this as speedy transport from A to B, beats wasting ridiculous amounts of jetpack fuel to do it)
