The New Order: Last Days of Europe

Rising of the Black Sun.

The Greater German Reich emerged from the war as the absolute hegemon of Europe. At the cost of countless sacrifices, the conquest of Lebensraum was complete. However, only humiliation followed. The Reich's greatest ambitions either remained mere dreams or failed miserably. The once mighty Wehrmacht fell into stagnation, and German politics became little more than a flashy facade. All this is happening under the silent supervision of Adolf Hitler, whose years are taking their toll.

East Asia, united under the banner of the Co-Prosperity Sphere, has become a barely visible ghost, subservient to its new master, the Japanese Empire. The rising sun shines from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean, loudly proclaiming itself master of the world economy and the conqueror of Western imperialism. But within the Sphere, the embers of resistance are smoldering, working hard and growing, waiting for the right moment to strike.

In the nuclear fires of Pearl Harbor, a last hope glimmered - the United States. Humiliated and shaken by the world war, America took it upon itself to fight for freedom in this dark world. But while the government of the country struggles with the expansion of German and Japanese spheres of influence, more and more Americans are outraged by internal chaos and segregation. A major struggle is taking place within the United States, and its outcome could change the course of history.

The Mediterranean has broken free from the weakening grip of the Reich, forming a fragile Triumvirate. The Iberian Union balances between prosperity and disintegration, the Italian Empire struggles to preserve its fascist legacy against a growing democratic movement, and the Turkish Republic sits on a powder keg of colonialism. What happens beyond the Pillars of Hercules will surely affect the fate of the entire world.

Anarchy has descended on the lands of Russia. Numerous fragments of various governments are fighting among themselves for the right to possess the remaining resources of the once mighty Soviet Union. All of them are united by only one thing - a burning desire to create a single state under their rule. What this new nation will be like depends only on themselves. However, whoever emerges victorious will have to prepare for a new war. For the Reich and the Land of the Rising Sun continue to occupy Russian lands, from the once brilliant capital of Moscow to the port of Vladivostok. Russia must be reunited, truly reunited, at any cost.

LDM was a great project. TNO:R is only its continuation, a remake and an opportunity to give a second wind to an alternative history similar to LDM. I hope everyone will be understanding about this.
