Halo: Battle For Arcadia (OPTRE Liberation)

Description
Liberation re-written for Halo.

A highly customized KP Liberation port, featuring a variety of bugfixes, improved features, and new mechanics to bring the Halo universe feel to the Liberation capture-the-island gameplay.

The year is 2531. Arcadia has fallen to the Covenant, and it is up to you to take it back. Embark on a persistent campaign with your teammates to take back the sectors from the Covenant, that will most likely span several weeks of real time.

Brand new Halo-specific features include:

  • WebKnights unit support: The Liberation code has been upgraded to prevent WebKnights OPFOR units from lobotomizing regular unit AI, allowing you to have grunts and hunters working in concert with Jackals and elites.

  • Fight alongside the organized Colonial Police forces, who are always allied to the player, and have brand-new leveling logic to distinguish them from regular guerrilla resistance.

  • The Covenant shows no mercy, and will slaughter civilians without restraint. Because you are their only hope of salvation, civilian reputation will always be at 100%, allowing you use whatever violence required to defeat the Covenant without fear or reprisal.

  • Covenant Assaults: As alert level rises, the Covenant will employ increasing ordinance to stop your advance, from plasma mortar strikes to carrier assaults. Be careful! If alert rises to 100%, they may begin glassing sectors in desperation...

  • Persistent permadeath medal/rank system: Level up through 7 ranks as you battle the Covenant, unlocking better arsenal items (configurable through arsenal presets) and speed boosts. Earn medals that display on your record for good performance, from the Purple Heart to the Legion of Honor. But do not get too caught up in your own glory, for death will reset your medals and send you back to level 1.

  • Halo-universe rewrites: HALO jumping has been replaced by ODST orbital drops, and are available to ODST and Spartan units only. Paratroopers have been replaced by Covenant dropship inserts, which will land and deposit units automatically.

COMPATIBILITY:

- Compatible with ACE and ACE No Medical
- Supports MAX women civilians
- Default arsenal includes items for TFAR, Anton's ODST arsenal, Operation Cosmetics, and Immersion Cigs.

@OnePercentMilk_ after your usual setup for mods and stuff, do whatever you would normally do to get scenarios onto your server or machine. This varies from server to server so I can't really give you concrete instructions. For us (using Havoc Hosting dedicated server), it's using a steam workshop downloader to get the PBO off the mod page and uploading the PBO to the mpmissions folder via the File Manager. But your process may vary depending on what you're trying to do.

Soooo I'm not seeing this or any of the other releases in scenarios despite being subbed, what do I do?

@CopyG it should be inside functions/fn_addActionsPlayer.sqf. Find the "do_halo" part, and the very last line is where it checks if there's "ODST" or "Spartan" in the unit type. Add whatever logic you want to there and you're golden.

@barnesx596 whoops, I accidentally added the ACE soft dependency when I was testing last time! Should be fixed now.

whenever i try to play it keeps saying i cant because OPTRE_ACE_Compat was deleted
