Thorn \\ Jormungandr’s Cradle Shipyard
The submarine serves a dual purpose: to plumb the depths of the abyss in the name of scientific discovery, and to provide a covert tactical advantage in naval operations.

Smart-Airlock


The airlock will not engage until the chamber is submerged\drained, unless a sequence skip is initiated.
Simply press twice on a door.

Thin Submarine Layout


No necessary ladder usage, everything important is on the main floor.
Every room is easy to access, no more searching the path.

Weaponry


  • 4 chaingun, as a main weaponry
  • 2 railgun and a depth charge tube
  • 1 laser and 1 turret base, accessable from captains room, supportive
  • Front Laser, very high energy cost

Quite a lot of guns, huh, but high ammunition consumption.
Modified chainguns, with an auto-mode toggle, provide effective defense against high-threat environments, even when unmanned. Though their range is limited, they can still handle emergency situations.
Every gun can be upgraded\replaced, except the Front one.

Notes
I was struggling with hull design, endless hours of creating the perfect, but nothing compared to this one I've found.
Fully rewired, a bit reshaped, fit out from my point of view

currently no, when it happens i restart. it seems to only trigger during a sequence skip.

If you found temporary fix pls post it here, the problem is going to be fixed when I finish working on the next sub update..

It seems like after the new summer update, both air locks have gotten quite fragile for whatever reason. Outside of outposts, the indication lights would stop working and when the airlocks break it would only blink yellow and the pumps would not start.

there's a second tab in submarine upgrade merchant at the outpost, there you restock your shuttles and drones, its a vanilla feature...
