Description
Monitors are coastal boats with a full-size cruiser cannon turret to act as a force multiplier for coastal defense fleets, likewise the Akila fulfills this purpose well, being able to punch up against destroyers and light cruisers with its dual railgun turrets taken from the Anaconda. This gives it an immense firepower for its size, complete with point defense turrets for light missile defense to boot.

This ship being a 2.5th generation vessel with its tuned AI to take over the vessel in combat and provide optionally-manned defense of territory. Though it's a patrolship, it can function as a force multiplier for smaller fleets due to its firepower but extremely cheap upkeep.
