Disclaimers:

This mod is not designed to work with Nexus BaseMod or BongBongEnterprises. Using these mods and mods that depend on them is likely to cause conflicts with this mod, and may result in features not working, or the game not being able to run properly. If you're not running any mod that fulfills these conditions and are still experiencing problems from this mod specifically, try to provide information regarding what exactly is going wrong, or give the relevant snippet from the error log in Library of Ruina's LocalLow folder.

This mod is powered by Localization Manager, but you do not need to have the mod installed separately.

Overview:

Wondering why some Abnormality page effects are so difficult to trigger, or why it does something different from what you expected? Do you desire more consistent terminology and descriptions across Abnormality effects? Hate false advertisement? This mod might be just what you need!

This mod attempts to remove ambiguity and falsehood from Abnormality page descriptions, their related Combat pages and Buff effects, and floor E.G.O pages - in other words, what you read SHOULD be what they do, assuming you are using no mods that modify them.

Note that no functionality for any of the Abnormality pages is changed by this mod on its own, and that the descriptions are modified to match the vanilla functionality of the Abnormality pages. If you want to eliminate bugs or have these effects fixed so they're closer to their vanilla descriptions, try getting Cya's Assorted Fixes, and use Assorted Abnormality Text Fixes for the descriptions instead of this mod.

Instructions:

Subscribe to this mod, then launch the game with the Launch Option "LOR with Mods" enabled, then ensure that this mod is enabled by selecting it in the mod menu when the game loads. You'll know it's enabled if there is a tick mark next to the name.

That's weird, that might have been an issue I had fixed over the course of fixing other things, but do let me know if it comes up again.

strangely enough, the issue no longer seems to be occurring. The only abnormality encounters I have access to presently are credenza rematches and realizations, neither of which produce the issue. I'm sorry I can't submit any logs of the issue actually occurring.

I suspect it will also work with credenza rematches, but uncertain. Will try to replicate the issue and will DM you on discord once I have the log.

If this is the only mod I have running, I am unable to replicate the issues you are experiencing.
Does this occur only when playing the fights normally, or does it also happen in credenza rematches? Are you running any other mods? You may have to submit the log's error message somehow....

It's not just Spider Bud and King of Greed. Almost all abnos have this same issue. It gets increasingly annoying especially if one tries to attempt something that has an overlay such as Big and will be bad Wolf

The ones that this happened with were with Spider Bud and King of Greed - both from the library menu rather than the credenza because this was a new playthrough.

Apparently, this mod causes abnormality battles to not properly transition to the correct stage, resulting in the background of the original floor not being replaced and the floor's regular theme playing.
