"The M392 Battle Rifle, a configuration of the versatile M392 platform, is designed to utilize its semi-automatic functionality for a precise three-round burst fire mode instead of single fire. This air-cooled, magazine-fed, gas-operated select-fire bullpup rifle fires 7.62×51mm ammunition. Equipped with a carry handle featuring a display for ammo counters and battery power levels, the M392 can accommodate box magazines holding between 32 to 60 rounds. The fire selector switch, located above the grip, offers three settings: SAFE, FIRE, and AUTO, while the magazine release button is positioned directly above the magazine well, behind the trigger. With ejection ports on both sides, the M392 is comfortable for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The modular construction of the M392 allows it to be a versatile alternative to the more predominant assault rifle and battle rifle lines within the UNSC arsenal. Its adaptability and precision make it a reliable choice for various combat scenarios, offering a balance between the rapid fire of an assault rifle and the accuracy of a designated marksman rifle. This flexibility, combined with its robust design, ensures that the M392 Battle Rifle can meet the diverse needs of soldiers across different battlefield environments."

This mod replaces the SCAR in L4D2 with the custom M392 BR based on early Halo 3 Battle Rifle concept art. It comes with custom animations and is tested for online play in Left 4 Dead 2.
