Information for Travellers

The Talos system contains seven rocky worlds and two asteroid belts.

The Talos system is a S-Type Binary system. The planet Talos orbits the Secondary star.

Even though Talos sits of the junction of the Jump-1 Collace Arm, Forine Corridor, and the Glisten Arm, there is no Starport in the system. Starships must pay an exorbitant fee to refuel from the planet Talos’s ocean.

The planet Talos is a Poor, Non-industrial meso world with a Very thin atmosphere – most sophonts will require an respirator or oxygen mask to breathe - and a moderate amount of surface water.

The planet Talos is thought to have been colonised in the 400s by the Tizon Empire. The population is highly insular and culturally conservative, showing little interest in Chartered Space beyond extorting passing starships for refueling fees.

The planet Talos is Governed by a Self-perpetuating Oligarchy that traces their lineage back to the Tizon Empire. The population is primarily focused on survival and shows little interest in politics.

The planet Talos has a small craftsman workshop-based economy and manages to maintain a native TL-9, although they possess no space technologies beyond basic satellites.

While Talos is of great interest to ethnographers the population has no interest in being studied.

The simulation is currently stable, but that might change when running the simulation forward.
