The Faldor system contains five rocky worlds and two asteroid belts.

The planet Faldor is a non-industrial meso world with a dense, tainted atmosphere - most sophonts will require a respirator or oxygen mask to breathe - and a small amount of surface water.

The planet Faldor has no Starport.

A recent increase in the eccentricity of the planet Faldor’s orbit has led to global cooling, suggesting that the planet is heading into an ice age.

The planet Faldor has a human population of 5,000,000. It is also the homeworld of a minor non-human amphibian race called the Ottari.

Faldor is an example of technological regression. The human population reached TL-5 before a series of social and climatic events resulted in a collapse back to TL-2. The Ottari are TL-0.

Until recently the planet Faldor was a designated Amber Zone, but this designation was lifted in the hope that external trade could stave off the continued decline of the human population.

However, with no gas giant, a dense, tainted atmosphere, and little to trade, few merchants visit Faldor.

The simulation is currently stable, but that might change when running the simulation forward.
