Description

Necessity is the mother of an upgrade.

With my A-23B-1 Dingo falling into disrepair after a series of updates and being outclassed by new logic, I sought out my next big-shot multiplayer aircraft to use in Sector Control and other combat servers and roleplay events. All of my aircraft for this said role were twin-engine, but what I needed was a single engine. I built the Segugio 2-A-1 on top of my hardy Seguigo fighter which is still used by other players to this day in Sector Control. After being finished for three months, this new update has motivated me.

The result is a sleeker, faster, and deadlier aircraft. Carrying two 40mm guns and four XML-stretched machine guns, the firepower is a little more than the Dingo and turns boats and aircraft into twigs. The speed nears 500 km/h, easily adjustable using airbrakes. Flying is incredibly smooth, perfect for long flights. This is my next step into WWII-type air pvp dominance.

(I know that Segugio isn't an Italian word, the misspelling was on purpose to make my own cool name based on the humorous release of the original Seguigo)

Startup:
> Turn ON "Master Breaker" down at your feet.
> Turn ON "Engine Master"
> Turn ON "Engage Pumps"
> Hold ON "Energize Starter Pedal" and "Engine Starter" AT THE SAME TIME
> Turn ON "Release Wheel Brakes"
> Throttle UP and pull UP

Weapons:
>You have 400 rounds on the machine guns, 80 on the 40mm guns.
> The bombs do NOT drop in a pair but hit extremely hard.
> Arming a gun will turn on the gunsight.

Airbrake:
> At full throttle, your speed will be reduced to 230 km/h.
> The feathering of the propeller is adjusted, NOT THROTTLE.

Other:
> This is UATC compatible!
> This aircraft does not have fuel pressure issues. The only reason that the inspection is a function is to ease my anxiety in the months after the space update's "fixes".

yeah the Dingo I feel is a better aircraft against the AI. I nursed one home on one engine, even got a soft landing too.

Interesting.

Glad to see the Dingo is still holding together for you!

It seems that while the speed is quite nice, the lack of repair capabilities cause it to be much more prone to crashing, while the Dingo, despite it's age, can take quite a beating and still limp back to base with repairs, even if the cockpit or engines damaged.

The dingo may be outdated, but I still fly her to this day and she does great. I am now going to test this new plane I have happened upon.
