Which incorporates this one and brings ability in line with historical

1.0 FULL RELEASE COMPATIBLE

REQUIRES A NEW CAREER START

Historically correct. Makes GHG usable on surface at massively reduced performance.

GHG 4km with etxra sailor bonus
GHG Balkon 7km with extra sailor bonus

DOES NOT WORK MANUALLY! - you have to trust your funkmeister here

Range further reduced by motor speed (stay at zero or KF)

USE CASE:

Obviously your eyes are better most of the time. However, in fog or really dark nights when you cant see ANYTHING (darker nights enabled/ no moon) hydrophones on the surface make sense to keep track when shadowing a target.
Diving every twenty minutes would be rough.

Of course, RADAR post 1943 makes this a terrible idea.

Relatively confident I read a KTB where this was done (terrible memory and cant remember which). Feel free to correct me in the comments.

Another low effort/ high reward datasheet mod by tibbs :D

A purely technical question. How to write correctly:
"SurfaceRangeModifier -0.5" or "SurfaceRangeModifier = -0.5"
you have without "="

@tequilatibbs Question, the uboatpedia states that once you have the radar detector that the radio officer operating the sonar on the surface will use the radar systems. I'm curious if with your mod this still happens?

@DECAFBAD Yeah. Would love it if UBOAT allows us to install both KDB and GHG.

The one on the top (KDB)? That doesn't work on the surface. Luckily every U-boat that had a KDB also had a GHG.

question: this makes sense with the hydrophone you start with, and the one on the bottom of the boat, but the rotatable one on the top of the boat that looks like a T shaped pipe? how would that work?
