Description
--This mod adds 9 new playable sea peoples factions. All of them have unique leaders.

--Denyen: Pretty much a mobile Mycenae. This mod interprets them as Danaoi. Starts north of Cyprus.
----Led by Teucer.

--Lukka: Lycians, start off allied with Lycia, begin in Anatolia.
----Led by Glaucus.

--Ekwesh: Achaen's, start in Anatolia.
----Led by Mopsos.

--Tjeker: The last of Minoans. Starts on Crete.
----Led by Rhadamanthus.

--Teresh: This mod interprets them as early Etruscan's. They start off in northern Anatolia.
----Led by Tyrrhenus.

--Shekelesh: This mod interprets them as early Sicels. They start off in northwest Egypt.
----Led by Acestus.

--Weshesh: This mod interprets them as early Umbro-Oscans. They start off in northwest Egypt.
----Led by Tonitruos.

--Peleset Kin: A second start location for Peleset. Basically they are the same as their base game, but start in Syria.
----Led by Wirametes.

--Sherden Kin: A second start location for Sherden. Basically they are the same as their base game, but start at the mouth of the Nile.
----Led by Ithor.

All of the new factions have custom passive and active commands.

I also added five new deities to the games. This comes along with a new mechanic which enables other factions to discover sea gods by defeating the new sea people factions in battle. For example, if you defeat Shekelesh in battle you will get their starting deity discovered named Palici.

All of these factions have access to the sea peoples war spoils mechanic as well as the choose your own path of the sea peoples legacy. If you so choose, you can also join any of the current kingdoms in the game and try to take their thrones.

Why is this a beta version?
1) I want to make generic general variants for each faction specifically.
2) I want to add unique special buildings per faction.
3) I want to make custom new legacies.
4) I want custom starting/earnable ancillaries special for each unique leader.
5) I want to add custom names for each interpretation of the sea peoples factions. (Like Italic names for the Sicels).

Will not work with any other startpos mods, I included my faction unlocker as part of this mod as it would not have been compatible.

I want to thank you for this mod. Ive really wanted to play as the Weshesh, Teresh and Shekelesh for a while now, the Weshesh in particular.
It seems you based the cultural choices for the Sea People Tribes on the work of Dr. Fred C. Woudhuizen. Specifically his 2006 Dissertation "The Ethnicity of the Sea Peoples" published by Erasmus University of Rotterdam. And thats a good thing. Thanks again! Would love to see more content for this mod in the future if you have the time :steamhappy:

Is there something that I do not get but it seems that all those new see people factions that are not playable cannot built tribal outposts. Is it a bug or still not implemented yet ? I'm asking because these tribal outposts are, in my opinion, a really important feature in the game mechanic when you play any of the sea peoples factions.

Hello

Thank You for this mod. The idea of ​​playable hordes instead of the odd spawning invasion armies is something that should have been in the game from the start. They bring a lot of needed havoc on the map.

Are You planning:

- adding hordes to the game that threaten the southern regions of the map? Libyans, Kushites, Gutians?

- adding families to horde leaders?

- make Your mod compatibile with some overhauls, like Agony?

Any update incoming? I would really love to see this compatible with Radious or at least with something that gives 12-14 slots in main settlement.
