Report a translation problem
That was always the plan when I first decided to make the mod! I would have loved that. But sadly, as far as I know, we can't call up animated portraits like that. I have more information in the Dear PDX thread above if you're interested.
If it were possible it would have looked better, cost less data, been way easier to make as a mod, and could properly react to EXACT empire leader clothes and genders and stuff. It would have been epic.
Yeah transparency might be good. The PDX version I'm remembering actually had them as holograms that were vaguely transparent too!
When I made this workshop page back in summer I was looking SO HARD for one of the official Stellaris trailers/streams/whatever where they had edited this effect on, but I couldn't find it! Really annoyed me, lol. I swear it was on a dev clash or something but no dice.
