Information for Travellers

The Flexos system contains seven rocky worlds, and one extensive ice belt.

The Flexos system is a P-type binary system where all the planets orbit two similarly size stars that circle each other in a tight orbit.

While the Flexos system lacks a gas giant in does possess a dense ice belt 9.5 AU from its stars. This ice provides both drinking water and starship fuel.

The planet Flexos is a fluidic meso hellworld with an Exotic atmosphere and a small amount of non-water liquids on the surface. The corrosive nature of the environment requires most sophonts to wear a protective suit.

The planet Flexos has a small population of 60,000 sophonts - mostly human but with a small number of Aslan prides – mostly living in the sealed Downport.

The planet Flexos is a non-industrial world and is reliant on goods brought in by off-world traders to maintain TL-8.

Flexos is a Participatory Democracy. Duels of honour are permitted between Aslan males.

Various plans have proposed to either terraform Flexos or to create a sustainable industry extracting chemicals from its atmosphere and liquids. However, the needed external investment has been lacking to put such plans into practice.

The simulation is currently stable, but that might change when running the simulation forward.
